Location Location Location. We are not saying this is the best location - but it is certainly in the top one!
Situated in Scotland’s first National Park on Loch Long. A great base from which to drive west to Inverary or catch the train to Oban, Fort William and Mallaig. The house is about 45 minutes from Glasgow Airport, and less than15 minutes’ walk from Arrochar & Tarbet train station on the West Highland Railway Line. This is also where the Vikings landed and then dragged their Longboats over 2 miles to Loch Lomond embarking on the "Battle of Ballyhennan" as they pillaged their way to Tarbet-Loch Lomond. The Graveyard is located beside the converted church restaurant next to Arrochar Train station and is really worth a wee trip.
